it's a mod of BF2, you need the BF2 engine so, you need original disk and game installed to play. Do you have any of these things? These are the basics. Post step by step install methods and these forum gurus can help, they are pretty sharp. It also depends on version you downloaded.

Wait, I think last version they added a PR engine, can someone help my memory please, or at least help Sanke

you need a BF2 CD with the actual patch (1.4) installed.
then download the PR CORE FILES and the PR MAPS. youll find links under the "FILES" button in the bar above here. install as described there. read the manual cause it will help you alot.

and btw me not be guru :D

I believe you mean to say that you need to launch PR via the PR.exe as opposed to the bf2.exe.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe is the usual install location.

oh, yeah... don't jump in choppers without practicing a lot while not in actual games. read the manual, some air assets have SUPER long respawn times and you won't win any favors from anyone if you're new and out crashing them. in fact, I'd say don't even bother messing with vehicles until you're very comfortable with the infantry game.

just join a squad, let them know you're new (in my experience, they were very accepting to new players), and listen to your SL and squadmates. if you don't know what's going on or how to do something, ASK. they want you to succeed. :D

Sanke: Unfortunatly, you will meet alot of unfriendly souls when you play this game if you do something... I don't know what to call it.. Newish?

So I strongly recommend that you study the manual like a book, download the training map= https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f66-co ... -mode.html which will not when you download and install it effect your online gameplay at all, except your personal experience :)

Also, I recommend a microphone for ultimate fun gameplay. Anyways have fun and welcome :)

Once you have Project Reality and BF2 installed you can launch PR from your COMMUNITY TAB from your inside the BF2 Browser.
