IIRC WIMKS are used mainly in Afghanistan, and snatch landys iraq

SNATCH is on its way out due to being ****.

What is the replacement?

one of the cougar variants, or are the Brits just gonna use more tracked armoured vehicles? (warrior etc)

We're replacing it with the Jackal support wise.


And i believe it the Mastiff is the prime replacement transport wise.

Actually it would be mega to get that in game, might be difficult to code a vehicle with two parts like that though...

afaik, the devs believe this is hardcoded in this engine

The viking is a no go as BF2 cannot support articulated viechles.

I'd like to see the PR landy replaced at some point as it is badly under armoued and the gunner tends to get his legs shot out from under him in most engaugements.

Seeing the FV432 Mk.III "Bulldog", the Jackal or Mastiff would be superb additions to PR.

As for the Snatch, as said, IRL its being phased out as it can't stand up to todays COIN operations.

Its hardcoded aparently, can't do the articulation between the two parts.

Both cabs are integral to the vehicle. The connecting unit is the steering joint which makes the vehicle turn using hydraulic rams.

The cabs can be disconnected on Viking and the front one driven but its not much use.

It could be modelled as a solid vehicle but would look **** and be a bit too long to take any where except on a straight road.

i actullay came up w/ a crazy idea that might make teh viking possible ..but i need some one to tell me if its possible


well at leats i think...when a black hwak move left or right the tail fin moves to right??

we is it possible to make the viking front pod and make theattachment like a "fin" like on the black hwak...so lets say the driver turns right the hingle will turn w/ the second part to the right...idk if u get my idea..maybe i should draw some pics 4 u...

think of it like a fish tail... but the fish tail would be like the rudder on teh black hwak..but now u apply it to a hinge
