First time 'suggester' here with just a quick idea:

How many times have you seen 'blue-guys', the poor players on your team not fortunate enough to be in your awesome squad, gunned down because you couldn't warn them on VOIP?

If it can be done, I think an option on the commo-rose to shout 'incoming' or 'take cover' would be a nice addition to the mod.

Opinions?

I think we have enough of them in PR. The good thing is that even 1 player per language is enough to get the sound

Even if the Arabic, russian or chinese person types it phonetically, it can't be worse than all the vBF2 stuff??

Yes, I must agree with NerdyDodge, it shouldnt be too hard to do and can be helpful in saving a guy's life.

or make it automatic. a SL may automatically shout incomming! if he is facing the direction of the fire

Dunno if it's possible, but:

Middle of Q rose is halved into left and right (literally split into two, not just the different mouse clicks), left being 'Spotted/Object Spotted' and the right being 'Incoming/Take Cover'. Or, you know, some ingenious way of producing that result.

As well as the bottom of the Q-Rose (while in a vehicle) being 'Bail Out/Stop the Vehicle'


That would be ideal, I think.
