Forced squads!

I've noticed that playing Realitymod there is still a lot of lonewolfs. I think it's much more fun to play a squad against another squad, attack and defence. Is there any possibility to force people joining a squad? There should be no lonewolfs in the game and I think this would make a little change in playing the game.

Example:

The first gamer joining the game have to create a squad, which the next joining gamer have to join until the squad is filled up. The next player joining have to create a squad also so other joining gamers can join a squad.

This would make it also easier for the commander to overview the squads. Also maybe there should be forced classes in the squad: AT, Medic, Support, Assault, and more, so every member has it's own class. And when more than one members die, the classes would swap to prevent the player having the same class all the time. Though I think this is impossible to implement but hope it will work.

Edit:
Some extra suggestions. There should be a special class for airplanes and helicopters, which only can join a specialized airborne squad. And this class should should have a limit of weapons, not so powerful on foot. This special class should be assigned in the beginning of a map (the same procedure of a commander), so the pilot sticks with his mission. Note that if there is one airplane and two helicopters on a map, there should be three avaible slots in the Airborne squad. This would also prevent helicopter/airplanes campers! Squads is meant to be on foot, not in air (except from transportation).
Another suggestion I've thought about is that the players should have to wait to spawn on the squad-leader until he is dead, so the squad will spawn together on a base, this is more realistic. Though the problem is if the squad-leader is in a tank and he is unbeatable, the squad-members have to wait for a long time. But I think there may be many solutions for this problem. Maybe we should have a special Tank class as the Airborne class?

only time for a quick reply here, but bf2 limits 6 people to a squad and I think a maximum of 8 or 10 squads total, which can be a problem on full up 64 player servers

Use search button and just post in existing thread, it has been discussed and i believe that new pilot/tanker class will some day find it's place in PRMM...

Too strict option... rather something like 1x sniper, 1x support, 2xmedics max... and so on.. Becouse i suck for example with Medic so i would leave squad if i would find that i have to be one becouse rest of classed are already taken...

No. This should not be in but at the same time i wished on public servers ppl did join squads more but in PR they allready do so thats not a prob.

Why i dont want to see forced squads? clans will have real probs getting the right ppl into there squads ect and in manny other situations liek this it just wont work.

Forced classes is impossible for now. DICE have hard coded their system, in all their infinte, arcadey, 100 snipers in a map, wisdom.

I don't understand what you mean. There are about 32 players at each side, which will make about 4-5 squads for each side. I don't see the problem...

As I previously wrote there should be a rotation in the squad assignment when squad-members die, so members isn't always stuck with the same class.

Players in clans should be enough skillful to handle all the classes in different situations, this is a good way to learn the classes because you HAVE to learn them.

Thats a good way of p*ssing of new players so they don't come back,
Fundamentally games are about FUN. If its not FUN then people won't play. Enforced classes is one way of making it not FUN for people. Class restrictions, yes. Arbitrary class selection, no.

This topic reminds me of something I really hate...

I'll create Alpha Squad, and then some guy will make Bravo, and then everyone will either join Bravo or make Charlie/Delta/etc. In the end, no one has joined my squad

Frustrating

But alas, enforced classes are the only way to maintain realism.

Personally I still think that when you join a game, you should only have the option to spawn as a rifleman. When you join a squad, you can spawn as something that's allowed and available in the squad.

That way people that play solo can play it all they want, they just cant be anything else than a regular grunt outside the squad. Sure you could join a squad and screw the teamwork, but then there's at least a chance that you will pick to spawn by the squadleader.

Automatic invites would be nice. Often i think people simply forget.

Couldn't you enter a server and be automatically assigned to a squad? You could leave it if you want, so it wouldn't be "forced", but I think a lot of people would stay in a squad if that's where they started.
