i want to learn how to model but i dont know which program to use...is it in the bf2 editor..or do i get a trial version of 3ds max8..or is there something i have to pay for

3ds max 2009 is the best. its pretty exspensive but there are other ways you can get it.

well im looking for something tahts free isnt a demo or trail and LEGAL.


any other sugestions

Milkshape, Gimp theres a few just try googling for free 3d programs or something

is there anything that i ahve to get to make it compatble w/ pr/ bf2

Well i use 3ds Max 2009 and i had to download a thing called POE2 Tools so i could export the model ready for editor.

But to answer you question no you dont need to install anything to make it compatble with bf2/pr not until you finished. just make a model then worry about that stuff later

dude 3DS max is free i use it. ii only started yesterday but hey its legal to my knowledge.
i paid for it on ebay and trust me i got it waaaaaay cheaper than their $3495 price tag

i got XSI...but thanks for the suggestions....now i just need to learn everything bout modeling

Its not illergal i got it off ebay. but the guy that sold it to me said that it was a one off. not illegal.!!!

Who mentioned anything about you and how you got your copy of 3ds Max?

3DS Max Problem
