Anyways, I have a small question about .8
Having seen the videos of the personal defense weapons and the such, I noticed the 3D-iron sights. They are incredible.

Are there any plans for doing them on the "regular" weapon models, such as the M16A4, the G3, the L85, etc. etc.? Are there any plans on working on the iron sights at all?

I think the new sight pictures of .75 were incredible as well, but getting all these sights 3D would be a really cool step in a good direction.

I'd think so. And I'd think they are reanimating every weapon for increased realism. While they're at it, they'll probably add 3D ironsights, except from scoped weapons of course.

if .8 came out on August 8th, it would be the best birthday present ever. Wait, what?

Lots of hard work still being done on .8, and i'm sure fuzzheads main post about timescales says it all, just finished a long 2hr testing session. And for prospective testers, its not "fun" you have to stand there and get shot, just satisfying knowing you are ironing out the bugs for everyone. The lead testers need to get some serious thanks for the time they put in when the mod is finally released. You will see a mod with relatively few bugs hopefully.

To answer the question, yes were not just working on a couple ironsites, were working on the entire system.
