Can we do it like i ArmA that you can look around using one of the keys just like in a helicopter. For example pressing and holding C you can use the mouse to turn your veiw 180 degrees letting go of C woud center the camera. I dont know if it is possible but it would be a great add to the game :D Dont you think?

I think jbgeezer wants that for infantry, he was using the helicopter as an example. :)

He means as infantryman you should also be able to do that.

And that sounds hardcoded.

well you could offcoarse make 1st person model that has a body and that it doesn't change any gameplay. a model and a animation arent that hardcoded just take a little of time

Pro Tip: move your mouse to the side and the camera turns.

But seriously, its an ok feature in ArmA but really not needed at all when you can just use the mouse. Besides, ArmA uses full body models in first person, so it can let you look around. BF2 only uses your arms and the gun, so if you looked around, it would look ridiculous.

You can do that in Singleplayer, when paused. Don't ask me why.

Probably will have been, also I don't really see the point like said.

This kinda movements only really good for those that are stupidly quick with their fingers, have that thing that you put on your head and tracks your head movement, or in real life where moving your head doesn't really require any sort of outboard control system :p

I dont actually use that feature at all in arma, and nobody else does either, everybody is too busy getting shot at from all directions to be screwing around so everybody just looks around with their guns pointing in the direction they are looking at, alot more efficient that way if u look at an enemy and have to now let go of the alt key turn ur whole body around and point and click, before u do that ur already dead...

Use ur map instead, its what i do in most to all cases.

Unless you use a joystick and have a hat switch which allows you to move your head while your flying. It would actually be extremely helpful. I also heard a rumor that a system like this may be implemented but its probably incorrect.

EDIT: I was thinking this was for in aircraft use, not on the ground. What I said above is for aircraft, which would be useful, on the ground, I don't think it would be tat useful.
