[Request] Need volunteer texture artist - binoculars recolor

If somebody wants to help out and show what you can do, we need somebody to make a recolor of the black standard binoculars to another color. I thought about making it olive green like this:

But a lot more beat up and dusty...

Any volunteers?

Just attack it with the color replacement tool in photoshop :D

correct, you can find them in:

\objects\Weapons\Handheld\binocular\textures

with the "objects" folder being your objects_client.zip if you have not unzipped them, which you can find in the default location of:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\objects\

i already done it was a piece of cake if it isn't good tell me what i have to do greener/browner/darker/lighter etc

Thats nice but they looks so obviously mirrored(both sides have the same scratches). Is there a way to make it look more natural?

ye, although the obvouise mirror on the UV i think your on the right track :)

just try and cut down on it looking mirrored and you will be good :D

but i can't UVmap or make a model still have to learn :wink:
