Night Map Insurgency

hey,all PR players...
I Think that a Insurgency Map in night would be very nice...
US Marines Corporation VS Insurgency With alot of IED.
The Marines must cross a road with much insurgents...Like a convoy.
And got into the city and atack a Special Building.
The insurgents must defend this building.
The marines would have to use the Night Vision in all Time in the Mission.
i medit it.But the city have streetlights.
But in the strech to the USMC Base to the city the roads dont have streetlights,so they must use the Night Vision.
I send to the PR creators and designers.
I'm waiting for your reply!

You wil problibly get the answer do it yourself as everyone else that has suggested a map idea. No offence, but thats the regular answer.

I think it would be a cool idea. Seems abit unfair for the insurgents though. But it would be a great use for the stryker.

Insurgents would, unlike the conventional tropps they'll be fighting, not have any NV-goggles. Would be extremely unbalanced and hurt gameplay alot imo.

It could be a scenario game mode though where the US has to clear out a city for AA's so that reinforcments can get in with choppers. This would of course be an conventional army.
To make it harder the AA's will be random placed like in insurgency.

/OT ? Since when are the marines a corporation?
Ithink it would be cool, but without NVG's the insurgents would be a a severe disadvantage. If the map was at dusk when nvgs aren't required it would play better.

Yeah its a cool idea!
Also the insurgents having the NVG disadvantage is exactly what the game mode is about. A small city would be a great place. A 1k maps.
And not to be repetitive but anyone that would jump on its has a good chance of becoming part of the team, but also doing a map that hasent been done

Would be cool if Molotov's cocktails would light the place so you can see. Imagine a bunch of insurgents hiding in a building throwing molotovs at soldiers then shooting at them with their AK !

The map shouldnt be completely pitch black tho as it will make it impossible for the insurgents to win, but light enough to see but dark enough so you wont see too far without NVG. If that made any sence...

doesnt have to be pitch black. just well into dusk. Plus with some street fires and lights the insurgents wouldnt be at SUCH a disadvantage. i wonder if it would be possible to let the insurgents have Night time vision (dont mistake for Night vision)

Don't give the insurgents "night time vision". Just give them the tactical advantage map wise. Give them things that will even it out. Plus the insurgents could just steal the enemies night vision if they pick up there kits. Al Basrah has the same thing going on. Brits have way better weapons but they don't really have the element of surprise and aren't as good as the insurgents in urban brawls.

No,i think that he Idea of night time vision is not ok.
But i say,the small city will have streetlights.
but the US army must croos a dark road to come to the city.
The insurgents can set IED's in the road to stop the convoys.
And the road not has lights,because the Marines will have to use de NV.
The insurgents can light the road with molotov cocktails,and set IED's.
But the big war will be in the city.
The insurgents would stay in the buildings and shoot from the windows,or go to the roof and shot with AK-47,PKM,RPG...
The insurgents will have cars with machine guns in the back.
Or maybe its not totaly dark...
It's only and idea,I think everyone would like to play this map...

like arakizuki said, the insurgents just need more advantages.
and the ideas with the building and the AAs was interesting too.

Heres an advantage for the insurgents- they don't use tracer rounds
Would be hard to find them, even with night vision goggles

If PR was on the Crysis engine, with proper lighting, HDR capability for proper torches that can momentarily blind, fires that light up the night etc, I would be unbelievably up for this. However, I just don't think the lighting engine is up to recreating an immersive night time environment without it being very unfair on the insurgents. I would want torches that cause HDR flare, temporarily dazzling people, fires in the streets, illumination flares, shootable streetlights etc....and only the latest game engines are touching on those capabilities....
So in my opinion, great idea but I don't think BF2 can realise it....but by all means prove me wrong
