Looking over sights

when looking down sights i always find that they tend to get in the way

My solution to this is to aim lower than the target whilst tracking and then to aim up whilst shooting. However, this doesn't help whilst giving cover fire.

I'm curious as to what effect on accuracy it has, and if anyone else does this and weather it would be possible/worth adding an extra scope mode to simulate looking to one side of the sight?

I do the exact same thing. Not much of a problem if you ask me. As long as you dont move your virtual body while tracking i find that my accuracy doesnt take a noticeable hit while using that strategy.

i just wasn't sure, because i noticed that with the HAT's accuracy lines even the slightest movement makes a difference

but it may be that in the state ballistics are atm it may not make a difference

Nah I believe it is only the HAT and sniper rifles and maybe GLs that suffer from that type of deviation in 0.75; From what I hear the sniper will be fixed in 0.8, and I'm assuming with all the sexy new GL models that some tweaks have been made. Hope that helps
