New faction:Taliban. They should get afghan clothes and some other weapons maybe. Here is the clothing suggestion:[ATTACH]1962[/ATTACH]
Also the AK74 should be added to their arsenal. After the soviet invasion alot of weapons have been left behind or captured from the battlefields including the russian service rifle at the time: the AK74. It uses the 5.45x39mm so it has better range than the ak47. Adding this weapon would give taliban a btter chance in a longrange engaement. Still the Ak47 could be avilable to them

I think this has been discussed before, I do agree, the Insurgents in Iraq and the Taliban look different(not to mention different languages)the insurgents on Op. Archer look out of place.

well i kinda agree with Taliban, BUT!!!!!!! Ak74 Needs to be in PR, it should be a replacement for sks or atleast similar to vbf2 upgrades and unlocks

i think an ak74u would fit better into place, Like the vbf2 one but more realistic, and wood furnishings.

do the use the 74u ? ive never seen pics of it

Would they get the ammo for it as easily

I think creating a taliban skin would be low priority, the insurgents make a decent place holder. But yeah I'd like to see a full blown taliban team also

Wha if they have like hundreds of thousands of those weapons but dont use them because of reality issues

Thanks in the meantime maybe you could add the Ak74 to the insurents, maybe as a pickup kit?

Its not that easy

Will your map have the Taliban as opfor?

And more importanly, will your map be in 0.8?

Cool, I would be very happy to see the Taliban as their own faction

Until then just pretend your fighting as Arabs come to assist the Taliban in their struggle against the infidel.

The Talaban wont make a show in 0.8 just no time. Maybe in 0.85 when other Taliban maps come into play.

If you mean the one made by the Russian Community Team (74M) then no. There's only one way that rifle is going to see use on the PR battlefield and that's in the hands of Ruski Infantry!!!
