Gentlemen,

I am a Server/Game Administrator for the 'Dad and Moms Clan', we recently started playing the PR Mod and even though we are avid gamers in BF2, we are in need of help in playing this mod. I can remember from the older days of this Mod there was a traing team developed to help newer players in the game play and tactics of this Mod. I was wondering if the group still existed or if a member would be willing to spend sometime with us and teach us the basics. It would greatly be appreciated.

I for one used to play this Mod when it was first released, but I am way to rusty to really be a benefit to my clan.

what sort or training are you looking for ? squad level training ? or asset use, like tanks and helis and planes ?

Training sessions isnt really needed if you mix up with good squads you will learn from experience.

Does the whole clan need to join the CATA1, I am not sure we are ready to enter a Tournament as of yet.

for squad level training, ie ground pounding, nothing beats playing pub with a good SL. are you north American based ?

download and install, small mod, and easy to use. adds new game mode for ya so runs off same desktop item as normal PR and dose not conflict with any other game modes, so very good and easy. practice ground and air use.

my clan .:iGi:. is running a server for this mod, its locked because of server admin rules but the password is widely know, its 'training' .

Thanks Gazz, appreciate the information and yes we are North American based. As for the good SL, that was knida what I was looking for. Someone who has the expierence and is willing to teach some new players. I have done the best i can so far, but I am personnaly lacking enough expierence to be, IMHO, effective for my clan. I will grab the MOD you mentioned. Thanks again.

No, of course not, just have some individuals sign-up. When Campaign 7 is over, they can then teach in turn the rest of your clan-mates.

One thing though, if someone joins the tourny, he must be ready to go on vacation concerning clan activities. No use to join and then not to fight because on Saturdays you have clan-matches, when the tourny does its battles, too.

sometimes people need to learn a little better

especially if they are trying to get into something they're not used to

I'd try and help you with Squad leader stuff, but i kinda mess up a bit, and ^_^ i pretty much run on luck.

Commandeering is a different story.. i've had a streak going ^_^ 5-1 (out of the last 6)
