Yeah, that's been done a couple of times in the past to evacuate people. Doesn't look comfortable though.

How do they hold on? Did some designer had this option in mind and installed some hand grips there?

Probably holding onto something there for maintanence or just whatever hand grip is convinient.

Royal marine did this a while back now to rescue his buddie ( Unfortunalty the royal had already died)

When you board the pilot seat there is a hand grip to hold on to, and he is sitting right next to it so I guess you can use that.

Well he will be in for a shock, but it wont hit him since he is not infront of the missile
