I think ive seen this as well, and i dont know if there is any way to stop it.....
EDIT: apart from anti arty on servers is possibal. Just edit all the maps (for the next version of PRMM) with no arty on the maps or UAV ect. That way commanders cant use it, even if the server admin allows it.
Unless ofcourse the server admin puts them back onto the map....

Can you name the server and IP, and other info?
Maybe we can start by avoiding that server at all costs...unless something else can be done..?...help?..anyone?

once we get AAS on (ditch multiplay) SAS will have all the correct settings
We kick anyone using arty, and have put the spawn time up to 25

Is GH still having 60+ people on very small maps?
I LOVE infantry combat, but sometimes you can have way WAY too much of a good thing.
I would much rather see a 16 player VERY TIGHT infantry map, than a 60 player cluster-fawk of totally rambo infantry play.

We really need to develop some server admin guidelines.
Removing Arty is a REALLY BAD idea as there will be a use for Commander assets in future versions of the mod.

eggman, i agree, there will probably great use of arty, but right now, it has to be disabled!
it totally ruins teamwork to have arty enabled in its current state..

yes exactly. Until it becomes either extremely limited in terms of:
1. reload time
2. fire delay
3. only fired upon SL request
4. Artillery taken out of all urban maps
besides, with headphones on, artillery just gives me headaches all the time. On the -SAS- server, We will continue to kick people who use artillery, despite all the warnings displayed on the welcome message and indeed messages.

I love GH too, but i have a ping on 250 in there

hope there will come some more europe servers and souch.
