You all know its true. The hype around it makes you **** your pants waiting for new dev journal updates - but when its released, its going to be total excitement, then the week after, its going to go back to the same old same old. The anticipation is more fun than having it most of the time, lets see if .8 breaks this

thread in aid of what? I watched the hype for 0.7 and wasn't disappointed, same for 0.6

if 0.8 breaks this trend, I will be disappointed, but there is more chance of paris hilton winning the presidency

COD4 didn't beat PR imo, nor did crysis, just shows the singular gaming experience PR is. One day we will all be saying "ok, time to go to sleep PR" but lets not go damning releases b4 they are released

Don't rain on the 0.8 parade! If you like PR now, I think you will really like it in 0.8!

Sure, pwn3ge, slowly ooze your cunning plan into our subconscious, making us not check the site everyday for news, then pounce on the download link on release day! I'll keep an eye out on you.

I'll still love PR for it's unique gameplay. As it moves further from vanilla with some fresh new menu screens, animations, game mechanics, maps and toys ("and many, many more"-random paid programming), the fun will last longer IMO.

Imagine seeing a girl that has some really nice breasts with a shirt on. Your imagination will run wild.

Now you see that girl topless. Either two things can happen. Either she won't meet your expectations, or you'll cream your pants.

True, true.

.8 will be made largely of win and awesome. However, after a while, I guess you might get used to it. But it will still be made of win and awesome.

.8 x 10 = how many hours i play a day XD at least during the summer...

i still suck though i have a GREAT strategy going for Kyongan'Ni XD someone else probably has it but i'll post it (it's for chinese with more than 7 people XD trust me you'll get overrun EVENTUALLY if you only have a squad)

I'll make a bargain - I'll get the rest of the team to agree to using the date format for all new releases (thus getting you all some lovely 0.8 gameplay, albeit unfinished ), on condition that you guys are happy waiting until 10/10/10 for PR version 1.0

On topic,i think thats its a hype tough,0.8 will be released,2 weeks of pwnage,then it all goed back to normal and then the first noobs start posting when 0.9 will be released and the hype starts all over.
The patch comes wich wil be awesome for 2 days but then it all retutns to normal and it happeneds all over again

YOu guys dont get what i mean, i'm saying the anticipation for a release can somtimes be more fun than having it, not that other games matter. I'm not saying i'm bored with the current realease, it just .8 looks awesome.

But seeing the time it takes to get to a new version, and what they want to accomplish for .10 ( that will be 1.0 right? ) Im happy to know it will be out in 2 years! Else it would probably take even more!

So DEAL! Give us .8 and Ill happiliy wait 2 years for the full version. And 1 year for .9 Thats around the time it took .6 to go to .7 right? Or am I hugely mistaken? ( I apoligize if Im wrong! And Im not stating or even thinking the DEVS dont put enough work in this! These things cost time! )
