I've made a short video from brothers in arms showing the basics of the infantary tatics. I hope you all like and understand how to play and use tatics in the game.

YouTube - Tatics and Teamwork -> the high quality is avaible

I remember doing this, and the principle works great, especially with 2 SLs on TS

This almost works in PR the only problem is that the enemy is almost never sitting still like that.

thats true, unless its a map like mestia, then one squad with a firebase, LAT, a SAW, HAT, a marksman/sniper etc can truely turn west/east tower in to an unhealthy place so the other squad can flank or at least approach with more safety.

Isnt this the same in real life? I dont mean those insurgents in Iraq now but if you got a trained army against a trained army than you wont get any soldiers sitting still in front of you right?

Its like a big dance trying to get around each other?

i would think so , hence suppressing fire, pins then flanks. though suppressive fire dose not work to much in bf2

it works fine actually. once a bullet or soemthing lands near you your visually impared even though its seconds they can be vital for moving troops and if your wounded and bleeding out most players are concerned about fixing themselves up then the task at hand.

Funny. I just started playing Brothers in Arms again tonight. LOOOOOOVE that game.

A game that tries to respect WW2 in addition to making money rather than just exploiting it beyond all reason.

Works fine in PR provided you actually have competent teammembers. 3 rifles putting heaps of fire on the same group of targets WILL suppress (if not kill) enemies, while your other 3 men flank/bound up.

In earlier versions I would've agreed that tactics that require suppression were iffy at best, but with the inclusion of suppression effects and movement based deviation , they are now very effective.

as i always say to my squadmates, use your ammo you got 8 mags (240 bullets) instead of just firing perfect shots all the time just suppress them with as much fire as possible or at least a nice firing pace. most people die before they have used their first 2 mags if they don't do this because the enemy gets a chance to return fire.

I think too many people have the vBF2 mentality in PR. Accuracy. I'm a victim to it myself, wondering if I should be really doing this when suppressing the enemy. No ones keeping count, but still, it feels weird. :p I'll keep this in mind as a grunt. Keep their heads down.

Well thats why God invented the LMG's. Just keep firing with it and then well see if the enemy has guts to get out of cover and return fire
