today, while i was running around fools road with 15 fps with almost everything on low, i thought about how sweet it would be to play this with maxed graphics on high resolution at +50fps in average.

so if you play the game at 1680x1050 or higher with every ingame setting maxed, could you post a picture of what it looks like? <3

i'll try to later kinda busy right now.. but its not that exciting. well it is cause your running it horribly. but i wish PR's graphics would improve drastically.. you know whats nice..

1280*1050 All high ; AA x8.

BTW, settings aren't all, you need also a good screen to see every details.
I just bought a viewsonic 22" to replace my old CRT 19" and wow, the difference is huge and awesome (although I did not change my settings in the same times ).

I think he wants fools road.

1.When you use the printscreen *.jpg or *.png that BF2 saves uses - the images
get compressed,sometimes Aliasing is added back on as the result.

2.Ask people to use the "renderer.showfps 1" and "game.lockfps 0"
commands before taking a screenie that will show you how many fps
the game is running at (more or less then your 15)

Taken on the Fools Road ap when we had the big multi clan game on there a few months back.

full vodnik; PR actually has better graphix than BF2 Vanlla
Res is maxed out for monitor but not a very high res
at least 45 fps alwayz

Because BF2 maps were designed with older PC's in mind. PR pushed the limits hence your PC struggles, mine does too to be fair. For the most part RAM should fix your problem. I know it's the only reason I can't handle some maps.

I've gotten uesd to the muddy graphics on my old comp, but I've always notice how much of a difference shadows make, it's amazing!

Also, for the record, I've given up playing Fools Road and that other one (Chinese vs Brits with the gaint lake) because of the terrible lag I ALWAYS get even with all graphics on low...

I can't wait for my new rig, it's gonna be awesome!
