Who has mics? Let's use them!

One thing I have noticed is that there is NO communication on GH that I have seen. And I also know that there is this strange etiquette where if you dont see anyone using a mic, you yourself dont bother. so i just wanted everyone that has working mics, to post their in game name so when we see eachother we can start making use of that VOIP!
i have a mic, and i want to start using it!
ive been using my PR Tourny name lately so i can distinguish other PR tourny players.

and my other name is

you will see me often commanding squads, and usually getting low points too hehe but i try anyways
i ALWAYS use VOIP, and will pledge my allegieance with a good squad leader anyday!
alot of the people who are in the tournament have been using TS lately, so if you see their tourney flags, ask if their on TS,

I posted about this, but no one responded. I think many people have VoIP, but it doesn't work on GH for some reason.
For example, I was on with another guy. We both had VoIP. The squad could hear us, but we could no hear each other.

The last couple of times, when playing on GH, my SL and several SMs have had mics...
It working great (even though I don't have one), and it's much easier to understand, what the SL wants...

If you're having trouble with VOIP, have a look at this:
http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/ph ... 1118858228
Especially ports 55123-55125, which are the VOIP ports.

I'm guilty of not using VOIP if no-one else is. Though I have been making an effort recently

When I first enter a squad, I usually ask (several times) if anyone else is using VOIP. If not, I will often go create my own squad and name it something like "MICS ONLY." This also goes for VBF2 servers as well.
I often play a lone squad member.

Perhaps a difference in DICE's linux implementation of the bf2 server. There's no firewall/NAT/etc on the server.
Port forwarding does take care of it, though.

I have a mic, but I only use it when no one is home. It's very akward when talking to teammates when members of my family are around

This fixed my problem, router issues, BF2 needs
many port forward.
I'm always willing and able to use my mic (now) but I feel like I'm a bit useless at proper Radio Etiquette, although I am willing to learn.

I am sure everyone knows i have a mic, but not everyone hears me because of some problems lately with the VOIP and you don't even know they can't hear you until you type it in and ask. Or sometimes, someone can hear someone else on my team, but not me or anothe member which is also weird.

I've been having the same problems....
It wouldn't surprice me if it was EA/DICE that managed to break VoIP with their latest patch's patch...

Actually, this has been an issue from the beginning. Not new with the 1.2 patch.
