[Proposal] Contractor Kit

Now, when thinking about this, put any political basises aside, this is purely for realism's sake.
I think that there should be a contractor kit for USMC/US Army. I know that there are some UK Contractors, but I don't know anything about that so maybe for UK as well, but again, I'm American, I know nothing of that.
There wouldn't be too much work involved. The contractor would use a clone of the SF kit that would be reskinned to make them look civilian (just google video "blackwater najaf" for an idea of what the contractors wear usually).
Now, the question is, should the contractor be a regular type contractor or a Defensive Marksman contractor?
If the kit was a regular contractor, the kit could have an M4 clone (Bushmaster most likely - foward grip and eotec or aimpoint, full-semi automatic) for the main weapon, and then a Glock 9mm for a sidearm (I saw one at FPSBanana that someone offered for mod use).
If the kit was the Defense Marksman, the kit should have an AR-10 type weapon and an ammo bag.
Now, since the kit would have a fully automatic M4, there needs to be a downside to it, right? Well, to keep with realism, the clone of the SF character that would be used should have a hitpoint max of 80-90 because contractors wear hardly any armor (even when compared to standard infantry).
Also, there would be a point system add-subtract kind of deal like with the civilian (except opposite, so Insurgents would get added tickets for killing a Contractor).
So, what do you think?

You could make it a restricted kit...something like the officer kit. only one per squad?
But what about the models? otherwise, i love the idea.

So, the team suffers more than usual if it dies, and it dies easily since it lower armour values, just so a couple of guys can get a cooler gun?

But since you are in community modding I guess its potentially a different story.
If you still want someone to skin one/design a kit loadout for you for
Singleplayer play or something, this can stay open, but if youre
ONLY wanting it for PR multiplayer, its not gonna fly as its been suggested before - In which case this thread needs to be locked.
All depends on if you want this left open for someone to skin you a PMC and alter a kit for use in Singleplayer, which I agree could be a little fun[for singleplayer].

Oh, I searched for contractor, but nothing came up except the up-armored HMMWV. Weird.
What ever happened to the idea?
(I guess leave it open, if someone wants to skin me one I'd be happy, but I could probably do it myself)
Also, yes, contractors fight along with regular troops and I said the contractors would use a cloned/slightly moded version of the US SF kit with the cap, etc. I was planning on the kit being a regular kit, but selectable sounds cool to help against people over using the kit because of M4.

Contractors are hired as protection and stuff normal troops don't have time for. They are not allowed to go out in a full on battle and engage troops, only protect high profile people.

They are not even allowed to fight along the US troops or do backup jobs for them.

They don't go into battle, but they do engage enemy and support regular troops -
You'll see BW contractors and soldiers both firing on enemy *Warning this video contains vulgar language*
When I was originally making this thread I actually thought of making it a Contractor faction, but when you think about it Contractors don't have enough stuff do make their own faction.
I mean, they can have the VIP SUV, some APC without any guns and a little bird with pilot, copilot and gunner positions (basically backseat where player can turn side-to-side. Then, you would have a contractor, EMT, Defensive Marksman, APC driver, Pilot and Pilot Gunner (equipped with a SAW) and that would be all of the kits.
Contractor - M4, Glock
EMT - M4, Glock, Medic Bag
DM - AR-10, ammo bag?
APC driver - Glock, Wrench
Pilot - Glock
Pilot Gunner - SAW
Most people wouldn't be happy with those kits, but that's really all that contractors carry.
I'll try to work on a whole new faction if you want, I just don't think the contractors have what it takes to be their own team.

If we get this faction, we need to bring back the Escort mission then, they can drive the SUV and other vehicles to protect the VIP! Just make the escort maps larger, or whatever.

*EDIT* Bahhh, go ahead and work on the faction skinning or whatever if you want, its a community thing and youre more than welcome to... just know that its already been suggested and turned down. So itd be for you guys
This has been suggested many times before so go into working on this PMC idea knowing that its been suggested before and nothing came of it. Thats not to say it wouldnt get in PR, etc.

PMC's defend compounds, deliver stuff to bases, protect VIP's, they dont engage in full scale combat like in PR, so personally i see no reason to add them

Ahh, screw it. locked. If you want to make a [WIP] PMC thread, in the community mod section, go right ahead and start work on it, but this whole [Proposal] thing isnt gonna fly, you'll just keep getting people talking about suggesting it for PR, etc. If its gonna be a thread it needs to be [WIP] and not [proposal]
So think about if you really wanna do this, and if you do, go ahead and make a new thread asking for helpers to make the skins and design the kits, etc.
The suggestion has been made and turned down before, but if you want to make this on your own and have a thread for us to all see, go right ahead.
