This is just a minor suggestion and could propably be done in 5 minutes, anyway here it comes:

The MEC chopper is a whole lot bigger than (and from my personal experience slower and not as agile as) the blackhawk.
The mi-8 is only available on kashan desert but i always find it easier to shoot the mec transport helo than to shoot the blackhawk especially with tanks or h-at
So to balance this issue i suggest giving the mi-8 2 supplycrates instead of 1 (but with a reload time of 15-30 seconds so u cant pop 2 crates insantly and have a firebase ready to go) but you still have the possibility for a quick firebase without the need for 2 helos.

might be a too much to balance this so discuss

No, for the reason that they are the same in real life and should not be given different supply crate ammounts, also it would be too easy to build commander assets with it.

Why not give it AGS-30's instead of the .50cals?

I would love to see some kind of better gun on the MEC trans. I don't know what other guns are fitted on it in real life but anything would be better than what they got right now. Ooh... 2 guns on 1 side and 0 on the other would be cool

It's been said a few times that the MEC army isn't really based on a real army, just kind of a mixing pot of various nations that the Dev Team just mixes and matches bits and pieces of technology. Their hand weapons are good examples, most of them are H&K guns. I'm sure the team would let their door guns slip a bit on their choppers.

Just don't expect the Blackhawk's Miniguns or something like that. But Repeating grenade cannons seem a bit too powerful.

But giving the cow some bigger guns sound nice.

Automatic Grenade launchers don't do well mounted on helicopters, it fires at a low velocity as is and it a very heavy round the the rotor wash makes it hard to get accurate fire on target. It's my understanding that Automatic Grenade launchers are not mounted on helicopter platforms.

Why not? The thing is basically a heavy utility helicopter and almost twice as big so why sterilize it for the sake of vehicle balance.

FYI, its the Mi-17 not Mi-8.

Wouldn't be opposed to an ammo crate with more ammo than conventional crates though...

it would be cool if the chinook ever gets added to have the auto nade launcher on the right side, like on the real thing, but the chinook would have to be more like a APC then.

i dont see anything wrong here , thats the avantage of the MEC for choising a bigger choppers as thet main transport/suplie air vehicle.

mi-17 is horrible to transport people in. no one likes that helo.

No such chinook exists outside of CoD4. (don't use Cod4 as a info source it is FULL of inaccurate stuff).

Oh sorry, wrong thread. I agree with Soucy. It would give MEC more of an unfair advantage than what the USMC already has with their blackhawks.

the mi17 is slow , a bigger target and crappy armed ; the BH isnt .
