its a small thing but i saw a documentry about ied's and in it they said that insurgents used cell phones to blow ieds they would call teh ied which had a cell phone chip in it and that would make a electrical signal to the ringer piece which was used to blow the bomb......this would also fit in pr b/c the ied has a number on it....ive actaully tried to model a phone...but failed..i cant model for ****..but want to learn,but school will be starting soon ...so i cant really make one..if i caould i would so now im just puttng it in the sugestion forum

yes the general plan was always to put a "cell phone" as the detonator, of the IED, the C4 detonator was just a place holder. You never know, we may have one for you in v0.8

If you look at the CoD4 cell phone inside the suitcase bomb, it has a nice little wallpaper on it. Depending on how new the phone is, you should have a cell phone wallpaper competition!

no but i thought like for an animation when he takes it out he dials a number and when hes ready to blow it he presses call

Dialing a number takes a little to long I think. The devs gave the IED no arming time so that it could be set off quickly as a suicide attack. It would have to be like a speed dial number lol.

Just make it so that when you want to blow up the ieds you have a cell phone out and you hit the call button.

Lol it would suck big time to get a telephone salesman calling that phone after you activate the bomb

Back on topic yes The cell phone will be a sick detinator maybe giv the civ a cell phone just for the hell of it even if it doesent do a thing
