[Model] My first model - boat [WIP]

first of all I want to say I had no refrence pics I just did this off the from memory and it's not finished. I need some help as well.

I did it the cheap way and mirrored one side of the boat but now Im stuck with two sides that I cant join together(I want one object) anyone know how to fix this?
How do I add guns and propites to make it drive like a boat(or is that coding?) and I'v got problems where I have added materials(other objects) to it and they dont join 100% theirs always an littel edge sticking through.

Post you comments plz this is my first model started 5-6 days ago

That would make a cool patrol boat. I'm really sure that guns, etc. are done while coding, but I could be wrong.
Do you have the BF2 tools for that (Like the BF2 3ds max and the BF2 Gmax Tools)? If not, find them at the bfeditor.org site's forums. That tool will help you.

Ok go to where you create objects menu. There should be a drop down menu find "compound objects" there should then be a selection called "Boolean" (Or something) anyway click the first object then click "boolean" then under the boolean options click "union" then click "select object b" (or something similar to that) then select the other object and they will be then connected. You can then right click and make it a edit poly. Hope it help coz i did it off memory lol.

I don't know what else to do now I cant figure out how put guns on it and I don't have any idea how to do the skinning. Any one got any ideas?
