This happens ALL THE TIME. I've been playing nothing but support since I was assigned that role for the tourney. I don't mind so much if i've just switched aim and someone gets in front of me [still annoying] but its happened loads when i've been laying down a base of fire and someone jumps RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Not even 40 yards away which I can kinda understand. The punish is just the extra kick in the bollocks to seal it.

Not to mention the guy was being a total neophyte and nearly gave our position away by getting too close to the enemy base before 3rd squad began the assault from the north, AND he began firing rounds at enemy infantry.

I always forgive, even in vanillia BF2!

Same here (unless I'm just standing there and he kills me on purpose)

Exactly! Had some guy TK me cause he jumped out of nowhere and I fired one shot at him... Said I was sorry but he proceeded to follow me around to tk me, and others... took about a minute before he was kicked

What you mean is, "Don't punish for a teamkill."
I have had two times when a punish was deserved, both of them in vanilla/special forces (both time, idiots shooting me because they were pissed about something or other). I honestly think that punish should be removed for the first teamkill per round.
I wish the punishers weren't in PRMM... I'm sorry to hear about the LMG thing.

Almost every time I've accidentally teamkilled, I get punished. It's sad

it is pretty said there are punishers in PRMM especailly because of how the gameplay is, they are pretty rare if things are going right.

At the very least I take a few seconds [got 35 of em] to think about the circumstances of the TK. 9 times out of 10 I forgive.

Sort of on-topic, I think that teamkills should be the only broadcast death messages. At the moment, if you accidently (or intentionally, if you're a ******) teamkill, you have no idea you've done it until you've been punished. It'll allow the person to be aware of his TK and apologize if necessary, as well as allow the person who was TK'ed to be sure of who TK'ed him.
Furthermore, there have been very isolated incidents (one instance from version .2 comes to mind, although it hasn't happened to me yet in the new version) where players will just go on intentional TK'ing sprees and no one would know what's happening, nor who killed them. Eventually, they'd be able to tell what's happening by the guy's score, and he'd eventually be kicked. However, exceessive and intentional TK'ers should be brought to the attention of the whole server, as players like these ruin the fun for everyone.
As far as I am aware, a fix for this is very easy and can be implemented right now even without a patch. However, it should be made universal so as not to give certain players an advantage.

i had a problem like this on 1942 where i TK'd a guy a bout 100-200 meters away and he proceeded to follow me a TK (even afteran appology) me and i was kicked so i joined again and carried on playing with this wanker following me so i started a kick vote and he decided to fuck off after then.

I hate when they run out into the street into the way of your humvee and punish you. It's ironic, because they can hear you, you really have no indication of them, and so the owness is on them to watch out for you.
Yet, one light in their tiny brain flickers on (that light would be anger), and their finger goes straight for "PAGE DOWN" like it was a button that administers morphine.
