[Question] Terrain

What editor or .con file setting would stop the terrain from "melting" before my eyes.
It really bugs me when the terrain transforms as I'm moving close to it.
Allthough its great on the ocean beach as it looks like small spill waves.

I presume you mean the morphing - smooth out any sharp angles on the terrain grid.

Screens would not help in this situation as screenshots do not capture movement.
You may have noticed that in some maps the terrain moves as you get close to it.
Edit:Yes morphing
I suppose no setting will stop that?

Nothing you can do about that, it's the Bf2 engine. Its called terrain's level of detail which makes the terrain render at smaller quality at distance shrinking it etc.

as outlawz said, the terrain lod (level of detail)is changing and if the lods are different looking then they morph.
