suggestion/question about class limitations

i posted this in another thread, but if figured that it would merit it's own discussion
i'm sure that we all agree that the unlock system as a reward system in vBF2 is undesirable. therefore, it obviously would have a different use in PR.
what i'm suggesting, and hoping is that the programers are diving in heavilly into the system and 'seeing' what can be done about and with it.
since you can limit a player from using an unlock due to lifetime scores, i'm hoping it can be altered to a limited amount of ingame slots.
i haven't heard much about the possibilities and creative uses that one could program into the 'unlock' system.my question to the programmers involved, is there some possibility that the 'unlock' system can be taken advantage of? is there a way to heavily manipulate it that an unlock can only be available to one player at a time? in other words, everyone starts out with one basic option: assault. and from that, there would be options in the unlock menu (which would hopefully be converted into a class menu) that would open up other kits, but only a limited number of kits per side.
is something like this plausible? we got to find a creative workaround to Dice's crappy excuse of a so-called modable engine.
