Firstly, I just wanted to say Hello to everybody I have been playing PR since 0.4 but this is my first post on these forums. I think that it is pretty important.

I love the militia faction. When possible I try to get their sniper rifle - the M91 Mosin-Nagant. However the thing that is one of the most important in the sniper rifle - the scope - here is completely wrong!! The reticle is awful, I wanna puke everytime I see it As far as I am concerned, I think that it should look like this one: [html]http://www.snipersparadise.com/equipmen ... age005.jpg[/html].

The other thing which is wrong ,I think, is that this scope does not have the two times magnification as other sniper rifles. Of course I know that this is impossible in real life on the M91 scope, but.... for balance reasons it would be good my dear DEV`s

Reticle should be changed yeah, but balance doesnt take place in PR my dear Baikmaster91

What I don't understand is why these arms dealers would only arm themselves with WWII-era weapons in an age where their clients would demand newer firearms.

Anyway, the Mosin is here to stay, and I agree that the scope needs to be changed, but the zoom factor level has to be realistic, not balanced. I assume that's why the Militia use the Mosin in the first place.

+1 on not having enough Zoom. Doesn't look like I can see any further with the M91 than with a standard British Rifle.

Would also be great to have a different reticle, since the current one will completely hide a enemy soldier at 350M. This makes headshots very very hard.

Offtopic-ish - 1 gold star to the DEV who got the sound effect for the M91, Sends a shiver down my spine when I hear it...even when I shoot it. By far the best sound you can hear as an insurgent on Al Basrah, because when you hear it you know that a brit just got a bloody big hole in him.

Funny you should say that. The SUSAT on the L85A2/L86A2 LSW is 4x zoom. The PU scope on the Mosin is 3.5x zoom.

Ok, I understand that there shouldn`t be balance but please do something with the reticle. Once it was very good and it was in the 0.6 version I think. I`ve seen it in the promo video. Why have you thrown it out and put the other, horrible one??

Always had the feeling I could see further by squinting my eyes than looking through that scope.

Most likely just a little more zoomage *crosses fingers*. I really truly hope that they keep the M91 and just add some zoom, because I couldn't live without that sound. I love the rifle, it has perfect accuracy at about 300m for me, the stopping power is amazing at 200m...no need for a head shot, aim for the chest and they are down.

Hell I even like getting shot with it, its like getting hit by a freaking bus. I get a big smile on my face when I hear the sound then drop like a fly .

Yes, I know enjoying getting shot with it is a little weird , but its only because I can use it again once the round it over. And I get to do the same damage to someone else.

No the Nagant is great plz let it ingame.

Then that would be GREAT Don`t worry davetboy, I also love nearly everything in this rifle, including getting shot by it Oh and something a little offtopic...how about giving the scoped AK-74M for the militia officer? I`ve heard long time ago that it is possible and is going to happen. Is this true?

Yeah, the Mosin needs some scope tweaking. I mean, its called cross"hair", no? Currently it feels more like cross"fingers". The lines are just too thick.

I can't get enough of the M91. If I could have the sound bite of the shot as my ring tone I would be in heaven.

I even take shots at people I know I'll miss, just to hear it. This gun has given me my best moment in PR. 5 Brits thinking they are sneaky running around the city looking for a cache, There I am hiding in my special spot (never seen anyone else there, and almost impossible to spot me there, also right near a common cache spawning spot). I downed all 5 of them with 5 clean shots, 3 head and two torso, It was pure win.

Hell yeah!! It`s perfect for urban and forest sniping, cause it`s so powerful Fix it and everybody will be happy

I thought it was 3.46x zoom, like in ww2.

It's the susat scope lines. They block out more of the screen.
