I think all those guys look like terrorists.
Other than that, beard sounds kind of weird. Like a beard close to the face would be ok, but nothing like the 1st picture, I've never seen a combatant of any sort with an extensive beard. Personally, I would say don't go at this too much because we need more Insurgents that look like Civilians, not more Insurgents that look like Insurgents. But if you're making for the Italy mod, that's cool.

I would laugh if i saw some guy carrying an ak 47 with that beard(sorry not wanting to be racist)

I have been there in A'stan .. and trusted that are dressed like that.
They use Pakol, Chicom, bandolier sks and RD54.

id love to see taliban player models and skins... but someone has to do it first

A slight correction. All afghanis look like that. Terrorist and Guerrilla fighters just dress like them so they can camouflage among the civilian population.

In the USA terrorist would be wearing expensive suits with nice-looking ties or they would simply look like any normal guy.

I think a new skin for agfhanis would be better that the current skin of the Insurgents (In maps based in Afghanistan).
They're more traditional than the Arab peoples so they're not likely to wear normal clothing. That's a more common sight in Iraq and the Arab countries.

hate to say it but those clothes would be a ***** to get right, i dont even think the bf2 enigne would support all the like lose clothing anyway.

Terrorists don't follow the terrorist dress code unfortunately. Those guys just look like Taliban, you should quit with the stereotyping. With regards to the beards your also wrong. Seen as how the Taliban adhere to the Islamic belief that men should have beards it's highly likely that many of them have extensive facial growth.

A proper Taliban faction would be cool and more than worth while.

Doesn't the medic bag on back side of the corpsman pump a little bit?

Agreed, maybe not a whole faction, but as a mapper the models of soldiers in each teams can be choosen independently. Mappers who make maps in Afghanistan may choose between the Actual insurgent models or the Taliban models without having to change the faction completely.

If anyone can, making such models would be welcome and improve immersion and realism.
