I have recently found out that i have been perm banned from three servers which is; 10th community German,[MRS][RANKED] =ABC=, and GSA - BigD 0.756.
I dont know why i have been banned as on [MRS] and 10th community i have not been breaking any rules(atleast i dont think i have) i have put a post about me getting banned on 10th community's forum but i havn't had a reply yet. But i have never been on GSA server and i am sure i have not been breaking the rules on the other two. So is it a bug or could it be punkbuster?

Ehm... namehack means that someone "steals" your nick and uses it on their account.
For example I could make my nick look like [R-MOD]KP, even though it's XHeXeYX.

Or it can be slot reservation script. If server has 62 players playing it might be full already and if you try join, you'll be kicked before map loading even begins.

Have you tried going to there forums first?

well ive tried to find there forums but could only find the 10th community forum and bigD forum but havnt had any relpies yet. I cant find [MRS] =ABC= forum so if anyone knows it could you send me the link please. thanks

I wasn't aware that properly falsifying a name was possible. I thought it was just someone making a new account that looked like another. Sounds like a pretty big problem if it's true.

It's a hack... because of it many can get wrongly banned, but it is not able to hide the CD-Key. So it is still possible to ban the right person

Its not posible to play with someone elses name and get them banned, when a player is banned from a server, it is his key hash that is banned, not the name. I think this problem stems back to bf2. I remember bout 6 months ago i was banned from all ICONZ and Xtra, plus some gamearena servers and I hadnt even played on half of them... not that it bothered me, I had pr by then
