I was playing on Basrah Training Mod and screwing around with the Cobra when a thought came to me. One of the main problems with the GLTD is because of engine limitations it must travel at a fairly low speed (relativly) or it won't "stick" to a target. Why not make the GLTDs laser like the TOW launchers, where you can "steer" the laser box to the target to make it easier to lock onto moving targets..

sounds like a good idea to me

after testing alot, And asking other mods that have done things like it, It works 100% on local server with other people ect, but on dedicated is is iffy i have done tests where it worked, others where you could see it working but nothing would lock on.

so in the end it is just buggy but i think if someone messed around with the code a little they should be able to get it to work by switching the object the laser target is attached to.

Amazing what the engine can do if you think about it. Its a pretty old one and still has some tricks in the box

Hope will finally see some stabilization for the chopper gunners.
