Hey fellas i am modelling a boston whaler to hopefully replace that high powered speed boat that the Insergents have got right now. But i have run into a problem with the model.

I want to create a new polygon so i select the create polygon buton and then when i try to click on vertices it wont let me create them.

The red circled ones are the onces it wont let me create on the yellow are the ones it will let me create on.

Why wont it let me create on all of them? thnx

now i cant move anything, like the tools just wont work this is just crud pure crud.

i got the same problem many times m8, but if it won't work then try and chamfer the edges and get the second poly there and if it's an empty area you create into the just weld the new vertices together if that makes any sense.

Engineering books on geometries will give you an inside look on how software screws with you to figure out a way around.
CAD/CAM stuff.

If all else fails, post in the bfeditor.org forums. They actually have a 3ds max section. BFeditor forums are a lot better for problem solving than PR forums, also a lot of the same guys are on both.

nvm problem solved a different and way longer way
