What do you think of to provide M4 + G. Launcher every team leader of the Marine?
I wanted to know why in the PR Team leader whit the M16A4.
Even on the series Generation Kill the team leaders are armed with M4.

Because Generation kill must be right. USMC gets M16A4, Recon Marines do get M4s, but PR protrays standard, USMC infantry, 0311 (not officer, but whatever), etc.
M16A4 with M203 might be ok, I'd have to look into it. Ask some of the guys that have served. US government seems to be kind of weird with issuing weapons (as far as standarization goes).

In Generation kill they where Recon marines and didn't really have the same gear as the rest of the marines.

And also you only posted on picture with a guy with and GL and how can you tell that guy is a squadleader? Sure give them a M4 but I don't think they should have GL.

There is no marines in Black Hawk down, its all rangers and SF so same goes for them

Generation Kill is based on the 2003 marines thats why they have 16a2's and m4s mixed in and most of them dont have MARPAT but I guess lots dont now and they were recon Marines not regular marine soldiers, I also think thats why the had Open humvee's to

I have many photos where the body of marines uses the m4.
And it's not force recon.
How can you explain?

i would imagine any photos of marines with m4's are old photos, though some marines do use m4s, but im not 100% on the issue of US weapons to comment on that. though as linked, the USMC website says m16a4 is standard issue.

menu > equipment > land > m16

note: the land section dosnt even have m4 on it.

They have the MARPAT because there was no money ..
If you followed the series only: Officers, Captains, the Sergents have MARPAT

There are old photos because the lead MITCH and IBH.
Last year, in November .. when they came to Italy to train with the "Marines Lagunari" team leaders were armed with M4 with Aimpoint M2.
Now .. you search whit Military photos.com .... See normal official marines with m4.

check the comment above, i believe standardization of the m16a4 was later on.

Make that still use the PASGT helmet...

Marines

This game is based in the near future. If we can find the current standardization trend, then we will be able to determine whether it is wise to give the Marines an M4 at all.

As for the UGL, it does seem like a good idea.

First of all Valerio, Recon Marine does not have to mean Force Recon. There are Marines, there are Force Recon Marines, there are Recon Marines, etc. Lots of types. USMC should have M16A4 because every Marine is a Rifleman (ie. is trained and knowledgable with Rifles, not neccessaryily carbines like the M4). USMC will probably keep their M16A4s because they put a high standard on marksmanship and riflemen.
So, M203 for SL - Whatever the devs says, sounds cool to me.
M4 - No way.

I'm sorry but giving the SL a GL is stoopid IMO cos then the grenadier kit is pointles...

I've seen quite a few photos of the 24th MEU in Afghanistan with M4s alongside of M16A4s.

But, like Scot666 said, giving the officer a UGL would be kind of pointless.
However, I think it would be fine and realistic to give an ironsight M4 to the H-AT and AA kits.

no UGL a squad leader is supposed to lead not for long range explosion or whatever graneders do.
