ok were supose to be this tight squad, so why do people just run thru a claymoore setup for defense? I still think TKs for CMs should happen but not -points for planter. :mr-t: because of not paying attn.

CM are not set off by motion sensors, so the TKs should never happen. CM should be fixed to be remote detonated like C4 or removed from the game.

a trip wire would be nice

i would like to see the SAS custom made ones basically a recangular ice cream tub with plastic explosive in in with assorted bits of metal pushed in to the explosive.

Great idea - A trip wire that was glowing for freindly - and just a trip-wire for the enemies?
I tried to trip a tripwire on a drill LOL*

They would be good as you could just jump over it when you run away/retreat from an enemy-squad.. And wait for the bang..

A noobs-wire.. :P

Bouncing betties were fun indeed. I can remember playing BF:V as VC and hearing the satisfying sound they made as the popped up in the enemies face and exploded. It might be a handy Anti-Personel mine for the MEC.

IRT Thread. Claymores need remote detonates, yes! As well as improved directional damage instead of the standard splash damage effect.

well firstly although it is against realism i believe many people enjoy claymores cause you just can place em and forget em... lots of tactical options there.

and also yea they should be directional damage based... as claymores dont explode in all directions but towards the 'front facing the enemy' only... spraying them with small metal balls :)

Too bad you could run under it and take 0 damage.

Totally agree, lets make it real.
