afaik they got removed because they are vanilla maps

eg, zatar had that annoying capping problem (landing sites)

Pah IMO 7 gates has more potential as far as assaulting fortified bases goes, not HoH where you charge the hill dying over and over and accomplish nothing.
Gulf of Oman was fubar'd and was so biased towards MEC you could win the map with your left hand.
Daqing sucks.Period.
Zatar had potential, but the whole 'carrier in range of all MEC weaponry' killed it. And it's a BF2 map which doesn't suit PR gameplay.
Go play Bf2 if you want Bf2 maps.

Attention a secret deal between sunshine1991 and the Dev have happen, Release date push back a week.
They were removed because PR is trying to move away from vanilla maps. End of story.
