would it be the new carrier that is being built right now(the one with magnetic launching deck) what would be on it in this mod...this also depends on if bf2 has any sea levels to make it easier which i doubt

Personally i hope there will be helicopter carriers like the ones in use now, not just the giant USS enterprise type carriers. I dont believe the marines use those.. You have the carrier with the Lcac dock(was it?) inside, i would like to see that. Maybe some harriers..

Just because its a slightly futuristic game doesnt mean all the old equipment used today shouldnt be put in

LSD's and LHA's... those are nice boats. lcac configured, and harrier configured...

Magnetic decks? Send me the link for that one, I would like to know what they are magnetizing to the deck, because anything too intense will hose all the computers, radars, and antenna arrays, as well as give off a very familiar signature to radar, and satellite.

Also think I heard about some kind of electromagnetic CIWS to be deployed. Not sure it'll actually be ready by time the first carrier is produced.

Yeah we've had the phalanx systems for a while now. The magnetic catapults will be very nice though. I remember being a young midshipman, falling asleep to the backcracking boom of the cats launching A/C one deck above me... It was beautiful. (note Sarcasm)
