scope in-scope out too slow/ why running got cut short

Although i love all the animations, cuz they are really nicely done, why would a soldier take 3 seconds to put his sights up? It seems to me the animation for that was made under the assumption that the person has all the time in his world, and that there arent any bullets being fired at him, lol. But I can still sort of understand it, however taking scope off... that whole animation is too slow. All you do is drop ur hands down. One second. That whole dismounting for 3 seconds is a disservice to your teammates and yourself isnt it?
Also wondered on the reloading part. I have not handled an automatic rifle before and i was wondering if anybody from experience knows if it really takes that long to reload when under pressure and under fire. Im not saying it with irony, im really asking, because maybe im not seeing it the right way. Just seems a bit too slow and relaxed. In airsoft, ( i understand its different) im effin speedy gonzales in mag changes when in the heat.
Also why did the running get cut so short? i feel like im 600 pounds and i have been eating wayy too many twinkies instead of training in the military for the past 6 months. I understand that for heavy gear equippement, but its a tad bit too short isnt it? I mean with lack of vehicles in certain maps, i really cant get anywhere anymore, lol.
