Crouch speed when sighted.

Presently I've only noticed this with "ironsights" rifleman.

When one "sights-up" at walking speed whilst standing (no shift pressed) movement is slowed right down as in the usual way. You walk very slowly whilst looking directly through your sights in the usual manner. Cool.

However when one sights-up whilst crouched the slower sighted movement speed we get whilst standing does not occur, meaning it is actually faster to move crouched-sights-up than it is standing-sights-up.

The movement speed of sights-up for both crouch and standing wasn't like this last patch (iirc) so I presume this is a bug or has been missed.

I'm going to double check this now, but I'm pretty sure this is the case and maybe someone can confirm this so I can make sure it's not just my install that's buggy. Hope that makes sense!

Cheers.

I noticed this as well, and can't confirm if its a bug or a feature.

One would think it would be easier to walk with a weapon with an ironsight scoped up then a scope... because crouched with a sight you move quite slow, but crouched with ironsight is faster than walking with an ironsight.

I noticed this yesterday and I love it. Gives ironsights/aimpoints a huge advantage in CQB compared to scoped rifleman who can barely move while scoped in.

I assume the reasoning is it is harder to keep your sights steady on a target while walking than crouching down a bit and keeping a steady stance.
