I see a lot of guys complaining about factors of the new release. And its starting to tick people off...players in the community seem to look at bitchers with an air of disgust these days. and a lot of us do our best to assist and better the mod, where is...people who complain dont contribute!

Excuse my politically incorrectness in saying so...but seriously, you have no entightlement to give out.

You dont organise tournaments!

You dont code!

You dont program animations!

You dont make maps!

You dont make vehicles!

You dont do testing!

You dont report bugs!

And generally your arrogant forum posts have nothing valuable in them apart from negetive abuse!

[And by the way all of the above take tedious amounts of man hours]


AND IM NOT A DEV...IM A LOWLY TESTER JUST TRYING TO HELP IN MY OWN LITTLE WAY...SO MY OPINION IS A PUBLIC OPINION...So dont assume that im going to take their side automatically. And whatever decision the devs have made in the past hasnt seered the mod wrong. In fact you should be commending them on how much stamina and drive they have retained after so long, with bugs, and smacktards, and hackers, and the general nasty things that come flying their way.

So please, focus more on practising with the new tools and utilities handed to you, and not about blaming the weapons and animations.

[sorry if this pisses anyone off, but i must have seen 500 people bitching at instances when they should have movend tactically when they ran into a corner and met an enemy, thats just not realism]

Awesome! That's exactly what I think too. Less bitching more playing guys!

People are mostly moaning how infantry gameplay got slower, not anything the orginal poster pointed out.

Why the devteam want's to make firebases destroyable with knife or why they wan't to make the player slower is beond me, but surely we can/should moan about those kinds of things as constuctive critisisim is the way we can tell the mods what we think is wrong and what is right.
Topics like these should be followed by post "why it is altered this way", not just "learn to play/rtfm"
Imho "why this has been done" should be part of the manual when new changes to gameplay occures.

Ofcos there are topics like "I HATE THIS VERSION", but everyone in software business get those (even those that write free software ). It's just something to be ignored and I'w somehow seen mods here really angry about these things that are kinda normal.

Not every map/feature is superb when they come out and just saying "ALL IS GREAT I LOVE YOU ALL WILL U MARRY ME" is imho worse than giving suggestions to be better.

There are tools to make people not to post sertain topics and that is the temp ban tool and letting people know they are using it beforehand.


But surely do you think only positive feedback should be given to feedback thread?

lets play the mod for more than a week then complain ya ?

the dev team should not of excepted suggestions and feedback till like a week after released min. only allow bug reports

Firstly, I don't *****, have always loved the mod and of course have tremendous respect for the team but I don't think we should jump so quick into calling people "whiners" and claiming they have no respect for the team just because they don't like an aspect of the mod.

This is no excuse for all the dipsh*ts out there slamming the mod with no constructive words to say, merely something to keep in mind.

Even if people have done f all to the mod in terms of input they are still entitled to an opinion, just my thoughts.

1223 people playing right now ......the DEVS must have done something right!! Some will love it some will hate it thats the way it goes.

I agree that it is annoying when people ***** ingame and on the forums about the new factors. But think about this, you have accomplished nothing by making this thread! It does not help in any way to ***** about people bitching. If you really are annoyed try doing something constructive, like explaining to people the good sides of the changes. This thread disgusts me.
