About training mode

First thing I would like to say is that the training mode is probably the best addition to PR because it has been lacking in that department for some time. But, I think it needs to be advertised a little more, perhaps the little box that appears when you startup PR, the one with the announcements on it, should say something about training mode for new people.

In the servers, people are often asking how to do this and that etc, and often the response they get is "READ THE MANUAL" which isnt very nice and yes even im guilty of doing that, but lets face it its hard to answer someones question when your getting shot at. So i think we should start referring people to the training mode, or better yet one of the training servers.

Now something ive seen on the training servers, is people asking legit questions, and still getting the "READ THE MANUAL" response. People need to be aware that the purpose of the training servers is to help new people, its not a normal game of PR as witnessed by the total chaos going on, its just basically a sandbox so you can try out everything, and for new people they can easily learn the ropes thanks to the fast respawn and unlimited kits. and if your a vet, be nice and answer their questions, we go through this with every release but this time theres an outlet for people who dont read the manual {and lets face it very few people do} i just think alot of people arent really aware of the training servers so we need to make them more known, then everyone will be happy. we will have less noobs on the public servers asking why the choppers keep flipping over etc, and more people coming into PR with a better outlook on its player base and hopefully more people will stay.

Well, our training server has pretty much been full or close to it (24 slots) for a few days.

I have seen a lot of very helpful people coming and going...

Thank you to any of you that have stopped by to help.

hmm from what i've seen most of the training servers are locked for clans. in fact, there is only 1 training server that's public while having a latency less than 150 near me. i personally think more public training server should be opened, especially with maps that have air assets, since most new ppl seem to struggle on flying... (all 3 amphibious USMC games i've played since release of 0.8 ended up losing because newbs/noobs think they can fly the chopper)

Rude is hardcoded. :p I went into a training server today to try and practice, and I was glad to see fellow PR players answering the questions of new members of the community. I chipped in myself, but it was hard to do over text. So many people were chiming in, my words of wisdom were lost. ;)

No offence to the devs or anything, but i liked the old training mode more, it just seemed more open to whatever you wanted to do, also training needs muttrah city on ^^

I do agree, the old training mode was better.
I really loved the fact that it had Blufor vs Opfor action, which is needed to clans.
