Hey guyz, whats you'r mark on Muttrah whit the Huey Gunship
I dont want to create a versus thread, keeping this baby airborn depend of more than just skill, chance play big role too.

My own record was 50 minutes-15kills, and chance let me down, i face an APC on dock...that took him may be 2 seconds and i was history. lol!

Whats you story whit it

I havent flown it in a pub server as of yet, but most that iv seen attempt end up sleeping with the fishes/ having the wreck of the UH being scavenged by the local population of mutrah in no less than 5 mins.

They are always flying solo, low and slow. Never any communication with the team for close air SUPPORT (Helping out the team with it). So low and slow they can look into the windows for contacts

For some reason, I've also never seen the huey gunship stay in the air for the entire round...or even for 20 minutes.

Even worse. A two-manned Cobra doing attack runs on apparently abandoned apartment buildings. And attack runs as in diving in, unleashing rockets, spraying with the cannon, flying away, then repeating it. *facewalls*

I saw the huey gunship on the other team last for 50mins yesterday, doing the odd attack run (the the most damage I saw him do was kill 1 guy in my squad) before we shot him down, then once we had done that we where taken out unexpectedly by a cobra hehe

i flew the huey gunship once and i kept it alive for about 35 minutes and got 23 kills but then i got killed by a single lucky shot from miles away by a g3. the huey landed savely though and i died a bunch of more times trieing to retrieve it

The Huey gunship is harder to use than the LB gunship or the Cobra because of its tendency to move forward at insane speeds when its nose is tipped toward the ground. The LB, on the other hand, is stable enough for the pilot to spin in circles around his target indefinitely and fire his missiles at whatever altitude suits him.

It was me, you kill me exactly at the beginning of the dock whit an APC...but i do kill people in warehouse, people in civilian car... but its realy hard to do something cause Huey is not flexible like Little Bird.

lolz, it was in fact Tbone who shot you down, I was the driver

The funny thing was when we started to shoot you, you didn't turn in run, instead you started to turn towards us to attack us which I found quite amusing

I kept it up until the cobra spawned one round getting 15 kills in the process, then keeping the cobra up the rest of the round.

The huey is good at the start to scout around with and hit those trucks.

I always fly very low with the cobra on muttrah, like even below rooftop level alot of the time. High is just asking an AA to see you really. Then do attack runs on spotted targets. Trick is to not enter the area if there is aa, get someone to spot it then hit it out of view distance or do a run on it.

I bet I could make it last the whole round, just needs a good squad for target acquisition. Never enter the city without knowing all details beforehand, leave shortly afterwards

IF, and only if you have a team that's actually intellectually capable of such a feat

no kidding, i don't see combined arms tactics like that used too often, but if the are, they are quite devastating. i like how the new versions promotes these btw

Today, we got shot down almost instantly. People can be next to a firebase but they don´t even bother to say its there.:/

Its possible but not common on a public server. What is best is if the squad itself has the spotters operating forward of the heli and using voip to call in airstrikes.
We did this last night on Kashan desert, after MEC lost south village they came back to cap out usmc, the havoc flight crew gained 114 kills mostly in one spawn.

I'd like to see MEC capped out on muttrah

I have a feeling that the MEC will never be capped out on muttrah. No matter how bad they suck, that last flag is virtually impenetrable from the ground and nearly so from the air.

Depends if that cobra hellfire can damage through walls or not. I think its possible but it'd take alot, the cannon has alot of splash damage to it. The game would probably end before then

I was in a game where we almost capped out the MEC but the server crashed before we could get there.

But ye, nature of the flags and ticket count currently means that seeing a cap out of the MEC is unlikely.

I must have flown it for at least 40 to 50mins last time I played Muttrah. I had the highest score in my team:

i hope it gets a little more flexibile in the future, it is a bit of a stale ******* compared to the attack LB.

good nonetheless, i had it up for about 20 minutes with 10 kills. ended up crashing in to the crane
