Now, it is my understanding, that the Up-armoured humvee is used in insurgency style places, such as Iraq and Afghanistan, so I'm wondering, Cheeseman made one, will we ever receive our so wanted Up-armoured humvee on such maps as Ramiel and Korengal? Because the normal one I believe is used against a conventional force(Iraq 2003 invasion) but now it's insurgency, they use the up armoured one? Of course if this is all boobs coming out of my mouth, please lockage the thread!!

No, the Iraq INVASION used normal humvees, some people(this is not a Gen Kill ref, someone told me) even cut the roofs of their humvees. When it turned insurgency, they started getting up armoured IIRC.

thats what i meant scot, as in they have been up armored after/since iraq 2003, i.e. in between iraq and now

Yeah but if they are against an conventional army, my understanding is they don't use them, they use the regular ones, so my question is, will we get them for Insurgency maps?

i hope they put cheesemans humvee in PR it looked really nice

On the drives lap if thats nessesary. Or on a scateboard behind the car.

The Up-armored HMMWV is being worked on and in time you all will get a glance of it.

Does he really need a seat? He can just sit in the back, he wont die from not sitting in a real seat. I really hate having to leave 1 guy behind in the squad because the Humvee cant hold a squad now.

you could give him an invisble seat? and have the view from a passenger instead

What you're talking about is the M114 up armoed humvee? Which is not ingame now.

I don't care either. As long as 6 people get to sit in one humvee thats fine. Do anything. Put him on top. Make it look ridiculous. It just cripples a squad when one person is left behind. I frankly would rather have waited for the closed hatch humvee if that meant we still had 6 seater humvees.
