Tornado GR9

Quick Question, the speed of which the Tornado, starts to fall out of the air is 800mph, yet it is too fast for landing imo. I always overshoot the runway yet, in every other jet the speed is 500-600 before it falls at the sky and I can land.

I was not aware that we were in the year 3000, and the British had extended the Tornado program to get to the GR9 stage. ;)

I think you mean the Tornado GR.4, or F4. It'll drop dead at about 600-800, but you should be low and on a good glideslope by the time you reach there anyway. Use the brakes when you land.

I suppose you are a keyboard and mouse user? If so, feather your throttle, increasing and decreasing speed slightly as you make your final approach.

ye, its the Tornado GR4, the current Harrier is the GR9 :p

but tbh, I find the Tornado the easiest plane to land for me.

First time I landed it it seemed pretty easy.
