im curious of a few things, how come every time i play i rank up? its like i loose the rank everytime i get off the serverand it doesnt show up on my sig. but everything else seems to go through instantly.

You have start the game using the ABR client for ranking to show. From your desktop open ABR client, click on server left side, click on server right side highlighting, have input fields filled (name - passsword), click "Join Server". Your rank and will show in BGHQ.

Yep, that's correct.

The reason for that is the way EA implemented ranks. You get that popup once you leave a server that lets you know you've been promoted. Only once you accept that promotion does it get upgraded in the backend.

So you need your BFHQ connected to the correct backend (in this case PRMM ABR) which the ABR client does for you.

i dont get my abr client to work says someting about cant write to file.. have checkt battlefieldranking.com for an answer but cant find one..

if it has to do with the host file.. tell me where its located and i take it from there..

That most likely means your hosts file is read-only. It's located in windows\system32\drivers\etc

Erm I have the same problem and nothing yo have said has answered the problem. I use ABR to connect to the server although half the time the autologin is useless and I have to do it my self however I always start off as Private and ill rank up to my current rank after I kill someone.

It also shows me a private on the stats page.

Just curious,

Does rank open up locked weapons as in Vanilla or is it just.... rank?

It's just rank. EA is very guarded about using the unlocks as of right now.

found it and fixt it

meh, tried all that and my ABR still wont load

keeps going on about the hosts file, which is perfectly accessible

By accessible you mean write-able?
