Yeah I'm somewhat new to Insurgency and it's pretty fun running around with an AK and sandals but sometimes I'd like to use an RPG for example.

I remember there being green circles with a "C" on them in PR 0.7, where you could locate these kits, but they seem to be gone in 0.8 .

So how am I supposed to find the kits now?

Where should I look?

Check out the 'Defend' markers and the blue squares on the map - you will find a PKM and an RPG on each cache.

What does the caches look like? Are they directly below the markers?

They are pretty much directly on the markers - a pile of boxes with ammo etc., you will recognize one if you see it.

Also the main base usually has kits.
On Ramiel, a couple of snipers and rpgs are on the floor next to the motorbikes in the main insurgent base.
On Basrah, a lot of weapon kits in those market stands by the mosque.

On Archer, look behind the Mosque.

Korengal Has two sniper rifles and a AA, have fun finding them

Does Korengal still have that .50 cal sniper rifle hidden on the map? I remember seeing a screenshot of it back when it was still Khara.

Lol reminds me of the M82 on Al bas...with the uzis totaly insanity. But very fun no less

Hee hee two sniper rifles.. hidden very well. When you find them will will say "Are you kidding me! I've walked by them hundreds of times".

They are place in an spot the reflects the idea of the map. And of course I will mix them all up with the next patch

The SVD's are well hidden. Getting back to them once you've gone off for ammo is problematic though. It was pretty awesome last night with them. There were two caches underneath the area and all the US soldiers were out in the open moving towards them. I pinned down a whole squad or two and we also had our PKM gunner doing the same.

Nothing that BF2 editor can't see Isn't it ?
However I loved how m82 on Kashan only spawn after the flags were capped.
That caused problems when people would "let" the other side cap the bunker,so that
they can get the rifle.The didn't all know about the air duct in the bathroom thou
I like how the CP on Korengal is linked to the "extra" assets for the US,gives it a nice
twist.
