Tank Gunner Bug - Not the usual one, really odd!

Hi there, whenever I'm gunner (as in Main Gun, not Machine Gunner)on any kind of armoured vehicle, for about the first minute that I get into the seat I can't move the turret or fire.
I've read the multiple threads about not being able to fire, and the ammuntion counter displaying as zero, however my bug seems to be a bit different.
I get into the seat, and I can't moved the turret, or fire for about 30 seconds. However the ammunition counter shows that I do have ammo. Then after about a minute of so, it's fine, and the turret moves and I fire.
It's really quite odd, and very anoying since I usually go for armour especially when playing as British, and if I'm a gunner I'm useless for the first minute, and if I go on my own in armour, then when I get eyes on the enemy, and want to open fire on them, I have to jump into the gunner seat, and be a sitting duck for a minute until I can open up. It's really frustrating.
Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know a fix?

Ehh that's not a bug... the delay when getting in APC/Tank gun has been there for a long time and for a good reason---

.50s have it too, but shorter...

Epic thread. Read the manual please! It will tell you all the basic gameplay changes from vanilla such as armoured vehicle turret delays.

Sorry, should have consulted the manual first. It seemed odd though, and didn't make sense because as ironic as it is, my job in real life is gunner/operator on a CVRT Scimitar! And I've never come across a delay like this. Anyways, apologies again.

Well, I don't think you can jump between the seats in 0.01 seconds either :p


That's the reason why the delay was introduced.

ReadySalted: You will realize how much more fun/realistic it is if you operate armor with somebody else once you get into it. :D
