Is the Militant Ak47 more accurate than the Insurgent Ak47?

I've heard somewhere that the Insurgent weapons were 'weaker' compared to the Conventional Factions, I alway thought it meant in aim time and/or recoil. I never thought it would mean range and deviation. Is it true that the Militant Ak47 is better against the Insurgent Ak47?

The deviation settings are common to all weapons I read so the only thing that varies is recoil, etc and an ak47 is the same gun, same ammo used by both factions unless you mean ak101 which is alot better yea.
miltia officer get ak101, none of the insurgents get it afaik
Accuracy of the ak47 can vary according to where it was manufactured apparently but I dont think PR has altered or created two makes of ak47.
In the last version at least the m4 and m16 varied slightly in their ammo type and so the m4 did a little less damage. Ak101 is a smaller round but less recoil also
If you look at the guide, it says all AK are made by Izhmash for militia and insurgent.
Here an Izhmash guide to their guns

i haven't noticed any differences.
what i don't like is the sks. the accuracy feels horrible compared to the ak47. i've never fired an sks, but it's the same caliber so i wonder why it's so bad...

SKS always feels much more accurate than the AK-47 to me.

In-game the 7.62x39mm calibre weapons fire a slightly more damaging bullet. The difference in damage is so small that the only practical difference between it and the 5.56x45mm round the rifles fire is the shots it takes to kill someone wearing what is known as "BODYARMOR_POOR" (ie what the Militia wear). There are however some ranges where it will take 1 less 7.62x39mm round to drop someone compared to 5.56x45mm.
The deviation code is exactly the same for the Russian AK-47 and the Insurgent AK-47. In fact the only real difference between the two is that the Russian one fires tracers whereas the Insurgent one doesn't. The SKS has exactly the same deviation code. The reason it feels more accuracte is because you can properly see the front post.

We need some Ak-74 pick-up kit for insurgents

He said 7.62x
39mm.

If you don't know, the G3 uses 7.62x
51mm NATO.

Yeah it's like 3 shots for all assault rifle calibers right? I remember that time I killed a US Medic with 1 burst from my stolen M4 to his chest.(Point Blank) Same with G3 and SKS.(That is to say I fired off 3 rounds into enemy's chest with both the G3 and SKS in semi-auto point blank)

Are'nt Both the G3's and Ak's round damage in real life the same up to a point?

The NATO round has more penetration capability and kinetic energy.

There is no way to determine how much "damage" a weapon did in real life, you're either shot or you aren't.

It only depends on where you get shot.

It depends on the weapon and the range and if you hit actually registers. In theory you can survive a shot from the skorpion machine pistol to the head at around 200+.
DavidP: It should be 2 shots to the torso against opponents wearing "good armour" with 7.62x51mm NATO. 3 with 7.62x39mm.

I was asking this yesterday about pistol rounds because my squad leader was trying to snipe guys 300m away with his pistol and Im pretty sure they dont go that far or do that much damage anyway.
Whats the range pistol rounds start being reduced in damage? Also noticed we have two types of MP5, do they vary alot in damage

There aren't. One is your MP5N smg, the other one is the HK53, which is a smaller version of the HK33 (basically a lighter G3 using 5.56 NATO) - the 53 is more like a carbine even if it does look much like a MP5, it still uses 5.56 ammo and hence does more damage.
