I am using Windows Vista, and have the famous Stutter problem, aka "Slide show effect", so, i know that if u put Textures on medium it amazingly fixes the problem, but, is there another way of fixing it, because medium textures are really ugly, its so blurred...

here are my system specs:
Intel Q6600 @ 2.4 Ghz
Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS 256 MB
and the most important, 4 GB of RAM 800 mhz Patriot

Try downloading jkdefrag and let it optimise your hard drive to load textures faster. Dont you find less stutter at game ends then the start
