Insurgent deployable asset: Roadblocks

The idea came to me when I was in an insurgent squad on Al Basrah, being hassled by some Brits going through the streets really fast firing their .50s at us. So I thought "I wish there was a way to stop them in their tracks"
A couple days later, I watched some of Hotel Rwanda, and I specifically remember a scene where the UN was smuggling out people from the hotel. The militia rolled a car over on the street to keep the truck from going further.
So my idea is this: Give the insurgents the ability to place roadblocks using models of trashed cars and tires. The coding, I imagine, would be very similar to sandbags or AA. The squad leader can put it down just like he would sandbags or a hideout (with the T commo rose). We already have EA models of trashed cars. They are all over the place on Al Basrah and Ramiel. Whether or not they need to be shoveled/wrenched is up to the testers and devs.
It would be destroyed by tank shells, C4, SLAMs, Heavy AT, or sustained .50 fire for a long period of time.
