[Vehicle] CV9030N [WIP]

Just popping in a WIP thread for my CV9030N model for the Norwegian forces. I'm waiting for som high rez refference photos of some details from a good friend in the TMBN, before i start on the finer details, turret, backside and rear cupola. This is only my 4th 3d model ever so i am going to need somebody to unwrap and skin this when the modeling is done

Talk to the Dutch, they also needed a CV-90
Might be easier to make some changes to your CV-90 then model a new one.

Currently the model clocks in at 2137 polys and 2748 verts. If the Dutch community needs a CV90 i can fix that, but again somebody needs to unwrap and skin it

Something about tri limits from the CON section:
Pretty sure you can stretch those limits a bit, though.

Ok, around 6000 then. Hopefully that makes room for a lot of details
But how does tri's and polys/verts relate? Are tris and verts the same? Please educate a 3D-novice
Edit: ok, when turning on triangular count in 3ds max it shows 7140 tris, so i basicly need to cut back a lot of details even before adding a turret?
