Camouflage for the snipers

Could the Camouflage for the gilly suit be made to suit each map for each side?
And what about counter-sniping with your own Sniper? Not a good idea to make snipers invisible at a certain range.Psykogundam wrote: i think at ranges longer than 400M, the sniper should be invisible. give or take a hundred meters.
Joint Operations, bless its soul, had a system where everyone turns the colour of the ground at long distance, because even it- the old god of online shooters - had a rendering distance.Psykogundam wrote:imo if they should work on ANYTHING it should be the fact that when your sitting on a hill, you can see black dots where the snipers are. You can actually see snipers better from long range without scoping than you can while scanning with your SOFLAM. i think at ranges longer than 400M, the sniper should be invisible. give or take a hundred meters.
What the hell is your point? It would still help a load to NOT be wearing a ghillie suit in urban maps so you don't stick out in the middle of a city.Zimmer wrote:YEs its no use since the ghillie suit dosent draw on longer distances. And since the sniper should work in the longer distances its really no use. Also a Sniper should use grass with the ghillie suit and grass dosent draw either on longer distances so I cant see that this gives anything at all.
...or not if we can use this thread to discuss this instead. Would also be awesome if you can make snipers a certain % faded depending on the distance, that way it gives them extra camo but you're still able to find them. Dead bodies fade so maybe they can do it to living people too. If not then I still support the invisible at long ranges idea.Psykogundam wrote:imo if they should work on ANYTHING it should be the fact that when your sitting on a hill, you can see black dots where the snipers are.
