Why Militia Snipers still don;t have a Side-Arm?

I made the same point in .6 again in .7 and I'm saying it now. Militia Snipers really need a side-arm. They are the only Faction that have a Sniper Rifle with 1 zoom level(Minus Insurgents but they don't need a side-arm). Our Marksmen's SVD has a Higher zoom level, Is Semi-Auto, Does not have to wait as long in between each shot, and they have Nades. While we get nothing!
I don't care if it's a Crippled skorpion semi auto only, Or a revolver! Just please give us something that will prevent us from wasting our main weapon ammo! Sniping is hard enough in .8 anyway. More so for Militia. Besides, I thought the devs said that the Militia Sniper would be getting something in .8?

They got the Enfield.
As for the sidearm issue; don't let people sneak up on you.

yeah give them some sort of protection, its kidna weird when you find him looking at you and all you have to do is strafe and charge past him and blast him when in reality doing that would mean a steel buttplate to the face

Remove the militia sniper kit and give them five marksmen instead. Would make up for their lack of scopes and also make them more "unique" than the conventional armies. Seeing that the Enfield scope is even crappier than the one on the SVD, militia "snipers" works like marksmen in any case.

I don't understand why they got the SMLE -- I can drive over to my local gun shop (Tackle Box), where they have a barrel (a LITERAL barrel, like the ones you stored run in ages ago) full of Moison Nagant rifles.

Make them function differently to the other faction's snipers.
Make their weapon sight in/out and get accurate faster, but leave them without a sidearm.
Scout-sniper ftw.

Understood. Baghira pistol issued to Militia snipers for future releases.

Baghira? Isn't there a better option?

Hey, they agreed to it, don't push them too far!
It's a militia remember?

I would agree; the Makarov makes
far more sense for this than the MR-444.
However, I understand that would take a new model, and I'm not sure I care about the militia sniper that much.
I agree with the above post about scout-snipers; that would make a lot of sense. Make the Enfield scope in/out faster, and reach no deviation faster. Short range means that it the user will need be close anyway; perfect scout-sniper setup

I demand the militia sniper dual wields a Desert Eagle and a 1911.
Really, though, any pistol will work fine. They're there for backup, not for the sniper to rush into close combat with his sidearm drawn.

I think the Baghira is fine. It mean, it is a Russian pistol and according to Wiki, (yeah, not the best source), it says the Baghira was built to replace the Makarov pistols.
